Soaking up the sun by fbailey

Soaking up the sun

One for the wwyd155 challenge

Just as I completed this, I thought it rather looked as if he were lounging on burnt pizza rather than fungi, or is that just me?
Bep
Well, I can agree...;-)

Whatever the surface, he looks very comfortable. Thanks for submitting the photo to the challenge.

@houser934 @777margo @mkoso65 Thanks very much, had a lot of fun with this little chap:)

Very clever! If I had not read the caption I would never have guessed he wasn't really lounging there. Sad to report those mushrooms have now been harvested.
April 26th, 2017
Yep.like a pizza,but he's happy whatever
April 26th, 2017
@redandwhite such a shame! Didn't even realise they were edible.
April 26th, 2017
@brennieb Thanks Brennie, he was on a piece of tarmac originally and looked very exposed:)
April 26th, 2017
Absolutely wonderful perspective. Love the details and editing - Well done!

Very cool!

Ha! It does resemble burnt pizza. What a great capture, and the presentation/processing is terrific. Thanks, too, for faving my own posting. I've really enjoyed looking through your album(s)!
April 27th, 2017

@sarahlth Thanks so much Sarah for suggesting it, I'd never have done this otherwise! I love this sort of thing but haven't done any for a long time. No housework was done yesterday:)
April 27th, 2017
@fbailey You sound like me. Once I get playing with the editing nothing much else happens!!
April 27th, 2017
@sarahlth I was getting the layers in the wrong order and couldn't work out the problem ... my dogs will have to go for a long walk today:)
April 27th, 2017
@fbailey I struggle with layers, but sometimes I come up with some unexpected results which work! Enjoy your walk, hopefully you will get some got shots as weill. I have to go back to teaching my son advanced level maths now!!

Looks great. Very creative and beautiful done.
April 27th, 2017
Just love the way you've presented this? What program did you use?
April 27th, 2017
@ziggy77 @tonygig @megpicatilly @pyrrhula Thanks very much everyone, so glad you like it!
@cmsch52 Thanks so much Carol:). I use PSE 11 but couldn't get the result I wanted with it. I dug out some old instructions for PSE 4 and used those as you don't have to use layer masks. If you Google 'PSE Frank OOB Tutorial PSE4' you should find it. It's a Flickr download. Warning - it can be very addictive!! Hope you have fun:). If for some reason you can't find it, pse get back to me.

@fbailey
Oh dear, I was automatically put off by the Photoshop part. I'll really have to get over this and play around with PS more, maybe once I retire haha.
