Hello! We have been paired on the Get Pushed Challenge. I have had a look through your photographs and, am quite impressed with your creativity and boldness with post processing. I think you are a 'recording' type photographer, reacting to your surroundings. So, for the challenge, I want you to be pro-active. I want you to bring some cut flowers into your home, set up a table near a window with the light falling sideways onto the flowers and whatever receptacle you have put them in. Build your still life with a few more objects that are sympathetic to the flowers and take your photograph by natural light with as wide open an aperture as you can manage.

You really do like leading lines, don't you? And you have made them hit the horizon one third from the right! So.. to tick all the olden-day rules boxes all you need is line up the horizon one third from the top! :-) But I like the shot anyway!

@fbailey I try hard to break the rules.. ! want to be more adventurous, but it always feels wrong! The tyranny of 'how to do it right' if you learn it early!
