The Grand Hotel, Folkestone
The light on the roof of this hotel beams out a message saying Earth Peace in Morse code across the Channel to France. It is a memorial by Yoko Ono to all those who have died in its pursuit over the centuries.

Yes, I do think it very important that we try to secure peace with France. How about they give Burgundy back, then we can really get talking?

Very posh building, most impressive. Can you beam that light to Kim Jong-Un?

That would be a great message but in combination with that flag and its history it might lead to mixed messages being received!

Thanks so much for such positive feedback. Yes, that message should go out worldwide! I didn't go inside but have decided I definitely will one day for afternoon tea:). Although I attempted to take this as a sooc shot, I noticed on the Exif info it says 45mm so while I was walking backwards trying to get it all in the shot I must have turned the lens out of habit ... I tried to remove the tag but it won't let me.
