My Get Pushed partner this week is Wendy again, so we decided to swap challenges from last week. This meant I had to produce a photograph featuring hands.
I faffed about most of the day trying to remember the UK sign alphabet, and with the help of the internet spelt out '365 Project' as above. I was surprised at how much I'd remembered from many years ago.
I had great fun with this as I discovered my camera has a Colour Outline function which I had no idea it possessed, as well as several other doubtless useful functions I shall try to remember in future!
@wenbow Hi Wendy, hope you like the above. Your lovely heart picture gave me the idea. This was just the best fun apart from wrestling with the tripod and timer whilst sitting on the floor trying to get two hands in the frame at the same time ... the air was a little blue!
On the plus side I gained a much greater insight into my camera's capabilities which I had no idea about until a day or so ago. It also has a miniaturization button too - wish I'd known about that last week:) Felicity
What a clever and creative idea, no wonder this took you so much time, especially if the camera was n timer. Great job, and such a bonus to figure one of the camera functions!
That works very well as an image in itself, and makes for some interest comparisons. Sounds like sign language tends to be geographically specific, which would be a pity. I don't know how to sign, but I do know sign language here is called Auslan. Big tick for 365!
I love this! Fav. I am currently teaching myself sign language. I learned a little when I had vocal fold nodules a few years ago and couldn't speak, but I didn't get very far. Fascinated by it. It's like dancing with your hands and facial expressions.
What an excellent production - the colour outline function gives it such a poster look. it sounds like it was a lot of fun and a lot of work - congratulations on the end result. :)
What can I say, this is excellent and obviously took you so much time. Well done for discovering a function on your camera - its amazing how much they can do

Well done!
