Felt I really ought to put up the occasional picture in colour this month and today was running away from me at a rate of knots. So I went over to Folkestone to chase the sunset. There on the skyline was a little group of Highland Cattle so I snapped them quickly before the light faded. This shot would have been so much better had I been brave enough to get closer, but I wasn't. One of them raised his head and looked at me and that was enough to send me back to the car! Pre 365 I wouldn't have even gone into the same field, let alone strayed from the security of the fence, so I guess that's a step in the right direction.
I don't think you needed to get any closer. The sky is so beautiful it needed to be large and the silhouettes look even better against so much of it. Great shot!
Getting those silhouettes in such colour from the sky is fabulous! Highland cattle have such long horns but if they are socialised, are just friendly beasts!
We are partners in this week's get pushed challenge. My challenge to you is to find some repetition.
