Something a little different for the Flash of Red February theme, leading lines. These are two of the timber framed houses in Strand Street, which reportedly contains the longest unbroken line of medieval and Jacobean buildings in England.
The diamond shaped sign on the wall denotes an Historic Building in Kent.
Are they leading lines? They certainly dominate the image and make themselves the main feature. I'll have to check up on Jacobean... did we have a King Jacob? Not that I pay much attention to these things! I like the shot though, very much. ~Fav
This one is in good nick. Reminds me of all the timber frames in Chester - the local town where I grew up. Strong lines and composition. Lovely building. @yrhenwr No Jacob, but James I gave rise to the Jacobean period.
I like those lines - they take you on a journey of the eye along the building and out to the right. I thought this was Norwich at first. I didn't realise Sandwich was half timbered in places too

Thanks for mention. .
