White Cliffs on a Grey Day by fbailey

White Cliffs on a Grey Day

Taken this afternoon from Langdon Cliffs, in colour for a change. The day was so overcast and miserable just before the rain came that I converted the scene to b&w with Silver Efex which brightened it up a little and brought out the details.
The grey day hasn't done your photography any harm! This looks excellent in black and white and I love the winding path which I can imagine extending right to the horizon.

It's great in b&w - but this really highlights what you were saying about the slightly surreal effect of the IR - although this is lovely it seems a little subdued after your IR images - eg the sky is rather demure. :)

@helenhall The path leads to St Margaret's Bay, and you can probably go further along the coast to Deal as well. Langdon Bay to St M's is nearly 3 miles by road and my knees just aren't up to the whole stretch and then back to the car again. It is a beautiful hike though if you're energetic enough!
