those ribs look like folded over paper in some kind of Japanese paper folding. No idea about reverse lensing - all sounds very technical but it looks to me like you used lensbaby to create this. A really lovely result and I love the strong diagonal.
@helenhall Reverse lensing or free lensing is where you remove your lens from the camera body and turn it around so that you hold the front of the lens next to the camera body to create a macro effect. The problematic bit is trying to hold the camera steady with one hand, and the lens steady with the other! Glad you like it,
That is remarkable technical work. We had a fascinating talk on focus stacking at our club a couple of month ago. But havenât every tried it. This was a good choice for it.
