Abstract

On a walk around the same muddy fields with Catherine @redandwhite and her dogs yesterday, we were bemoaning the lack of subjects for 365. So I asked Catherine to set me a challenge, and I gave her one too. Mine to her was lovely, a still life in low light. Her challenge made me get out the garlic - a picture of the lines of the bird cage made into ... yes, that's right, my least favourite word - an abstract. So here is my offering. The middle bit at least was fun and something I've meant to try for quite a while!
I've been doing some rather colourful abstracts recently! I like this - it gives me the feeling of tension (left hand triangle) and release (right hand triangle).

Great abstract. Initially I thought that there was a link to another lockdown. Caged-in madness!

What a great abstract. I first thought of lockdown and then a maze came to mind

I LOVE it! You have really risen to the challenge! I love the wiggly lines, the straight lines and, you know me, the diagonal! You set the bar high . . .

@granagringa Thank you! Basically I just split the main image borders up into small squares and then used this to repeat inside each time shrinking as I went along. Hope that makes sense!
