Our little village is full of typically English sights, we have a village green with may pole (more about that in May!), a church, a pub, lots of thatched cottages and a pond. It was frozen yesterday and as I tromped home from school in the snow at sundown I thought this view, of my friend's thatched cottage across the iced pond, was quite pretty. Cold, but pretty!
(Waited until they gave me permission to post it).
Thank you so much for your comments on my silly photo yesterday, it was indeed typical of my madcap life this week and I'm glad it spread a smile or two. You are all very kind. Have a great weekend!
@filsie65 I love the cozyness of these homes. My house is a long thin bungalow, I say it feels like a bowling alley :) It seems these days families are getting smaller but so many new houses are huge.
Lovely shot love the light and sun flare - very quaint english scene. My daughter was in England last year and her photos showed it to be a beautiful place.
