..Now Gordon is a good man and if he says these will bloom for Christmas I will do my best to believe him. I admit to having my doubts. My Mum used to grow these to bloom in winter (rarely Dec 25th) but I've never tried it before... bought these from Gordon at the church bazaar last week...added a couple of snowflakes for the theme [hey, spot the red bowl!] and thought it would be good to compare next week (or not if it's boring)!
(And I share the frustration of other 365ers who missed the snow for the Friday shot!! Found these little snowflake confetti pieces and threw them away yesterday.. I was ferreting in the bin for them today!)
Gosh almighty you are the best 365ers around... thank you so much for your views and comments on my mince pie shot, Cathy said it tasted great!
I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I was the first time I tried to grow them, and I can't grow anything. Looking forward to seeing them in bloom.
Cool! I hope Gordon is right! Like your compositon. I am not sure if I was influenced by the shot yesterday, but looking at this thumbnail I thought it was a salad until I opened it up!
I would love to see these as they go along and we can all hope for a bloom for Christmas. Are you talking and singing to them? (Don't tell anyone, but I do many things to get the flowers to bloom )
Oh gosh, I though this was some kind of fancy mixed salad at first glance--guess that mince pie got me thinking you were on a food theme. Best of luck with those blooms!
