The tiny crescent moon was there somewhere... but as the sun came up on the way home from the schoolrun it gave out the most glorious glow and I had to stop (surprise) to get a shot at the side of the road. I guess this fits nicely with Monday's 'colours and lights' although claiming it is festive is a bit of a push... except of course it could only be a midwinter sunrise.. I'd never be up to catch a midsummer one....!

O-M-G!! This is soooo lovely! FAV FAV FAV!! But you know that! I love sunrises and sunsets and all sorts of stuff! The color is so stunning! And the silhouette of the tree just adds to the effect this photo emits. Fantastic! I would have stopped too (but you know that as well!!) A job very well done, Phil!
