Yes - it's true - the sun came out today! I had no luck with oil-on-water so went outside for a little whimsical moment with some red-nose-day bubbles and my camera! I was amazed at how clearly this one came out and laughed when I saw how I looked in-between the bubble and the shadow of next door's house so didn't crop it as tightly as I might have. Otherwise sooc
Had a wonderful day catching up on lots of your shots and (alas) doing housework - plan to carry on tomorrow (with the shots at least!)
The chameleon and I were delighted at your wonderfully kind comments yesterday - thank you so much for calling by. I have made a collage of the rainbow boa shots for the meanies amongst you who thought it would be nice to see poor Phil battling a snake with a camera...! http://365project.org/filsie65/just-stuff/2013-03-02
I'm glad you didn't crop out your shadow at the side. Very nice composition with you on the side and the bubble off center. Love it. The line across the bubble is great. Must be from half shadow half in the sunlight. You couldn't plan that if you tried. Just amazing good luck.
Your shadow makes this! Gives it dof and is just unique. I have bubbles and will attempt a bubble shot this spring break or summer.....Not sure how to do it though! But I love yours. fav
Very interesting shot: the bubble and the reflection of the scene around on its surface, the strange sloping shadow of the neighbour's house and you taking the picture.
I am not even looking at the "snake" shot. You had me shaking right there.......but I love bubbles.
