My little girl's home! Drove into Bedford to collect her from the station after her journey from Paris via Eurostar. She seems to have had a great time and best of all she got home safe and sound with most of her stuff! We walked by the river before meeting George so naturally I had to stop for 2 seconds to get this simple shot. I was standing on a little 'balcony' - not waist-deep!
Many many thanks for all your comments on the clocky shot of Canary Wharf yesterday. Class point to Hazel A for finding out that it is indeed the one with the pointy pyramid-shaped roof that sticks out on the skyline. Two more days until the Easter weekend! Keep going folks :)
It does look like a summers evening!! ...and home in time for a lovely easter, hurrah!! So good when they are safely home again, us mothers do worry so!!!
Very pretty! I do understand that feeling when they go off on an adventure. You wish you could go along (always behind enough not to be seen but close enough in case of an emergency) to make sure everything is alright. Then when they're finally home you let out a huge sigh of relief!
