When I realised that today's word is 'feet' I wondered who might keep still long enough for me to take a shot. Obvious!! I ventured up into my bedroom and there relaxing in the sunshine were my two cats curiously close for 2 moggies who pretend the other doesn't exist wherever possible. Laddie's paws are white so he was easier to shoot. He did stretch and yawn and then relax again - this was George's favourite shot and it's sooc which suits me having been awake since 4am thanks to my daughter's clodhopping feet.... :(
A bizarre day, I got up to hear the awful news from Boston. If folk could respect one another's differences and values rather than focusing on themselves I'm sure life on earth would be better. Or they could be laid-back like a cat...
You are all wonderful - thank you so much for your kindness and generosity calling by my shots, you really do make this site tick. Mwah. Have a Wonderful Wednesday :)
Wonderful closeup of Laddie's paws!! Great detail!! I thought of trying to get Finlays feet when he was napping but everytime I walked into the room with my camera he would wake up and run towards me!!
So sweet and cute and fluffy with sheathed claws that they can so easily wrap around the little birdies' throats. Well, I was talking about my old cat there. Fabulous shot Phil, I love the lacy blanket backdrop!
Great shot, Phil! :) I am but a mere 2 hours from Boston and seeing that unfold yesterday on the news was a bit nerve wracking. We have our own marathon to be held soon and they will be beefing up the security. It's sad that people have to be like that. And the poor people who were injured and killed ... it breaks my heart. I hope they find the ones responsible.
I love this photo of your kitty's paws. So soft and fuzzy. I bet when the claws come out it's a bit different! The focus of this photo is so soft and gentle and so is the lighting. Great job! :)
Terrific shot. I'm allergic to one thing. Cats. But I love animals (cats too) When I was working, the neighbour's cat would sometimes come running to say good morning when I left for work. I would usually bend down and pet him quickly before getting in the car. That was OK, but if I forgot to wash my hands when I got to work and later had to scratch my eye, I would look like I had been in a fist fight in a matter of minutes ;-)
My cats are just like yours, pretending the other doesn't exist!
Your sentiments on Boston reflect my view......where has all the respect gone...and can we ever get it back now..........so, so sad
