This was so funny... the challenge-word today was 'mirror/me/be nice to your mirror'... well I had the idea (which clearly didn't work) of getting the kiss in focus and me in soft focus behind... well with a hand-held camera wavering at the side I ended up with the effect of a lipstick mask, nose, ear, wall...! Gave up with the focusing and even the B&WW even though I faded it to emphasise the kiss. Anyway - I blow a kiss to all you lovely 365ers who give me so much pleasure every day! Mwah!

@tonydebont :) The camera was just out of view, to the right of the photo as you look at it... it was in lots of the shots as was the wall, my ear, the ceiling....! I used a bit of luck and bit of measurement to get the kiss above my hand (which was getting cramp) and my face in the shot above the kiss.. and of course then remember to look at the lens in the mirror rather than the camera..and to hold the camera still... oh and then try not to pull a silly face or giggle too much...!! =)
I thought this was something floating in mid air before I read the commentary. I think it's quite effective even if it isn't what you anticipated. It's a lovely selfie nevertheless xx
Ah, it's so nice to see your face. The way you write expresses your character so well, it's an easy transition to your twinkling eyes. Second the notion that this should be your new profile shot.

I have more-or-less listened and have made another one from the same 'session' into my profile picture... it has a camera in it so was a reject for today but kind of seems ok for the profile pic... even though folk may not understand the pink smudge!

@tooki Not at all, your cakes are beautiful. The challenge works for me some months when I'm low on inspiration... you don't have to stick to the words if some don't work for you, but it's fun to try and join in. I know I would never be nearing the end of year 2 if I hadn't done some challenges...! It would be fun to have you along x
@bobfoto Funnily enough I thought of you (and your moans!) when I chose the one without the camera in the way! I don't think I'm usually cross-eyed, one day I will manage a selfie without being frozen in the headlights... :)
