Word of the day - Independent for 4th July. Managed to get a shot of Miss Independent herself, not posing behind my only little stars&stripes flag for my American 365 friends. (We were in Vegas on Memorial day weekend and someone gave it to us to wave..!)
The word has got me thinking - we are all independent characters but make up a tightly-knit little team. The cats are the most independent of all. (As long as I feed and fuss them regularly)! We tried to get Laddie to pose yesterday but he wasn't having any of it and went off with the hump!

What a perfect shot, cats really do think themselves so independent, but until they learn how to open a packet of dried food or use a tin opener, then they are stuck with us:0)

Cute caption....he looks a lot like my kitten Pita....who has been gone now for over a year (disappeared when outside). But I can relate to the independence dependence of a cat!
