comings and goings

My get-pushed partner this week, Cheri, knew I was going away so gave me the challenge of "shooting blind - don't look thru the view finder when shooting - makes it easy to capture candid street shots etc" Well I have to say it was quite fun! I took lots of shots at Fuengirola Market but sadly most of them were of pavement or the sky or the backs of people's heads as they were looking at stalls. The results at Malaga airport were much more satisfying but this is the only one I thought posting-worthy as I liked all the movement and lines. I B&W'd it and did a slight orton effect then added a smidge of cross-processing to suit the venue. After taking it I ducked under the ropes to join the kids and was told off by a security chap... for using the camera or for ducking under a barrier? The kids said I was very naughty for both.....!
Thank you sincerely for calling by while I catch up after a week's absence.. you're all smashing and gorgeous too. mwah
@linc Had great fun doing this challenge, very timely thank you! Sadly the quality of shots didn't reflect the quality of fun I had but I hope this ticks the box for you :) Have a good week

Excellent shot, Phil! You did a great job for not looking. Love the b&w and love how it looks all soft and glowy. Well done :) Faving it!

PS - Sorry you got chewed out by security . . . but that is a risk we 365ers take when out and about with cameras. You think everyone in the world would know that by now.

I like this - glad you had fun doing it. Seems like shooting blind like this require lots of shots to get one that night be good. Still fun tho right? Hope you had an enjoyable vacation.

Great fun shooting blind. I really like the movement and busyness of the airport. Fav
