Light in the distance

I drove home in a continuing state of disbelief, having just told one of my best friends that I had accepted an offer on my house and a sign of 'Sale Agreed' was going up! After nearly a year I finally sold in 12 days! We know there are 100 things that could go wrong between now and moving out, but the buyers seem genuine and in a short-chain so fingers crossed. My plan is to sell here and move to rented accommodation in Sutton Coldfield (=home) while I look for work etc. After 18 years of living in Bedfordshire it will be leaving home to go home but I always knew I couldn't afford to retire here, so better pull up my big girl pants and get on with it!
The shot? For a moment the sun beamed out from those clouds and I took it as a sign. Moments later, when I had safely pulled over and reached for my camera, it had been engulfed by the clouds and this is what I got.
Lordie me what a lot of yattering.. hope you haven't fallen asleep! Thank you so much for calling by and sharing in my big year :)
I hope that that "new" year that you are about to begin will be as beautiful as this.

It is hard letting go and moving on.
Prayers for your new home and the next stage of your life.

It certainly doesn't take long for the sunset to chane, but this is still beautiful. Good luck on finalizing your sale.

Had to pop back to this post as I must have missed the house news. Mixed feelings I can tell, it's such a hard decision to make especially if you are reluctant. Good news re sale though & it means now you have to get on with it, sooner the better if you have no choice. It will be lovely going 'home' but a scary time.
