blue moon 20.8.13

I didn't realise it was a blue moon, but I thought it was a beautiful moon and did a detour outside on the way to bed. We have new neighbours who don't know about my photography addiction... I hope they didn't get alarmed to see a camera poking over their fence late at night...!!
(It isn't much bigger, but this does look nice on the black 'enlarged' view!)

@kittikat Hi Kitti! Sorry I missed the question... yes I think I did adjust the colour balance... rather than give it a blue tint I slid the balance to a cooler shade which brought out the blues rather than the yellows in keeping with the occasion. Lurve the moon, it just looks pretty much the same every time I photograph it :)
