In the past, Richard III has been portrayed as not a nice person but opinions seem to be changing slowly. It was intriguing to see the ruins of his banqueting hall at Sudeley Castle (those high walls and windows just behind the Queen's garden) and I can imagine how impressive it must have looked in his day.

Well,someone keeps the gardens in good nick! Nice foreground for these imperial ruins!

Yes, those little corners of history. I'm sure Richard has had a bad press. It's all Shakespeare's fault. And he never even met him!

It looks like a really interesting place - what a lovely view they would have had from the banqueting hall! I think it's a great view from where you were standing too!
