My son and grandson popped by this afternoon, because our grandson wanted to show us his new hat. He is ready for opening day at the Oakland A's baseball game.
Cute photo! I've been to the Oakland A's once, that was in 1992 or 1993. The most amazing part for me was the BBQ-ing on the parking lot afterwards;-) I do think I still have an inflatable baseball-bat somewhere. Let's see if I can find it in the spring-cleanings;-)
(btw. I've added the address in the comments of my photo of the bakery!)
@jendee3@tessamarylil Thanks to both of you, as I thought it was to cute not to share. I more of a Padres fan, but I still love the little guy anyway. :-D
@caatjeg We leave this Thursday and land in Copenhagen. We will spend a week there and then fly over to Amsterdam. We have a friend picking us up at the airport. We will spend one night with them in The Hague and then spend the rest of the time in Amsterdam with day trips to other cities. We had planned to stay with our friends the whole time, but they had a previous commitment for the time we finally decided to come. We are staying in the Convent Hotel in Amsterdam; I am pretty excited about staying there. Looks like a really neat place to stay.
That sounds great. I'm sure your friends will give you lots of tips, but if you want some more the easiest way is to email it to you. If you'd like that my emailaddress is caatjeg@yahoo.com. Sent me an email and I'll sent you all the tips I know for leiden and A'dam!;-)
@caatjeg Caroliene, I tried to email you but it came back as not good. Can you try and email me at deego1@yahoo.com and see if you have any better luck.
