The Maltings Ely

Built in1868 the Maltings was where barley was processed into malt for brewing. Nowadays it hosts numerous events for the locals, including the annual panto.

So nice that the building has been repurposed. I imagine that it is interesting to see inside.

We prefer the panto here to the bigger (and more expensive!) ones in Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds.
