After Dinner

The orange jacket is not for hunters but rather for being on the road in the dark or the semi dark. Rising so early this month to get young dog well exercised before work, I have begun to really look forward to after dinner, when all the walking and driving and working is done (for the day). My boots are off and the jackets are hung up.

I love it when all the chores are finally done, the dishes washed and it's not quite bedtime so I can sit in front of the fire and just listen to the quiet ending of the day.
