Dramatic in the fog. Well done. Yes, kayaking on peaceful waters is the best. No need to be fancy or face danger. Sunsets are fun to capture from the 'nose'.
It looks good to me, but I identify with the frustration of planning one thing and Having to do with another. the other thing to battle is a soft breeze moving the web to mess up focus. I once saw a tiny spider coloured like a jewel but it was blowing a gale and my photo is hopelessly out of focus. I have kept one of these as a happy memory trigger of that day in the bush.
Great image Françoise... and I'm glad it isn't just me who suffers this sort of frustration - and you couldn't even crop it square to compensate for the central placement! Chin up - we're halfway through the month ;-)
