This man made me a cheese and tomato sandwich during a pleasant interlude visiting friends during the middle of another hectic day. Plus, four of us devoured not one platter of sliced peaches, but two platters.
The rest of the day involved changing oil in car, more meetings at work, long emails making case for extra computer access (which I received, solving one of my logistical issue), finishing off those five bags of corn, making dinner for eight, packing for the beach. Joe, bless his heart, has stashed all the bicycles so they are all coming with us. Last minute food packing logistics reserved for tomorrow, then it's off to the beach where my nephew will already be waiting for us.
Funny that with the full table (grandparents who will be having their vacation watching ducks, chickens etc. came to get key to our house and extra friend who will accompany us to beach) I did NOT even think about taking out the camera for my month of focusing on people and documenting family events. Oh well, there's always next time...like tomorrow.
