Sort of hooked by my get-pushed challenge
from Debbie ( @deborah63 ) to "create an abstract photo using Intentional Camera Movement." I've just been enjoying (what a radical concept).
@lindamp5@barneyone Well, this was not a complicated fancy process! I putt a little cactus in the window towards dusk, then moved the camera vertically on a reasonably long exposure (with the teeniest aperture I could get), maybe 1 second, maybe 2 seconds I don't remember. What looks like smoke is actually the plant moving across the sensor. Mostly it took a bunch of experimenting. One improvement that took a while to figure out what having ONLY the sky in the background in stead of the hill across the way... Plus moving the camera works backwards from what you think!
