(happy 55) He was in his last high school Christmas concert today (12/10). That makes me happy that I will be attending no more (this generation of kids anyway -- I'm sure I'll be ready to attend again should grandchildren sing and play in the future). But even happier: I totally enjoyed every second of the concert. All the kids were so cute and did such a good job. When the band played at the end, all I could think was ... they've come such a long way since 6th grade band days. It was actual wonderful music.
