black on black is as tricky as white on white. you always get the grey tone where you want it to be black. frustrating. see here https://365project.org/summerfield/365-again/2012-08-09 the velvet cloth is stark black but with the lighting, it came our dark grey. i can't find my other shot of this camera where it's stark black. but here's one i did 2 years ago https://365project.org/summerfield/365-again/2015-10-08
