The past is a place too

For get-pushed challenge from Vera @vera365 gave me: "a photo that shows longing for a place you've once visited. It can be a recent trip, or an older visit - but it has to be a new picture that triggers memories."

Well, this photo is of an object that longs for a place that existed in the past: my parents' office where this paperweight always sat on my father's desk, though sometimes in the window when sun made rainbows through the prism. I asked my mother if I could take it because it always reminded me of my father and his office. She laughed and told me it had been hers, not my father's! A suitor of hers met her at a train station once (in the old country before she came here) with the paperweight as a present. Although she kept the paperweight, she expressed her disapproval of the suitor, who, she said had kept pestering her even though he didn't want to marry her.

It's nice that it brings back good memories for you of your Dad. I love pieces that can do that at a glance.

Hi @francoise I am your get pushed partner for this week. I have looked through your albums 365 and I see you love nature, so, I would like you to use nature in some way to show a me a picture where the subject or object is camouflaged. I hope this is ok with you.
