Bill Tutte's memorial in Newmarket

Although far less well known than Turing, Bill Tutte was probably FAR more important at code breaking in WW2 at Blechley Park. His work remained a closely guarded secret until quite recently. There is now a memorial to him outside the Rutland Arms in Newmarket. His work was used to intercept Russian traffic in the Cold War! The statue contains a 5 digit Baudot code - very clever.
