Taking pictures outdoors this morning . . . I enjoy taking pictures of leaves . . . so many possibilities . . . a lot of our leaves are just now changing colors . . . and still hanging around.
Instant fav for this Gayle, it's just the kind of subject I really love. Thank-you so much for the follow; I'm delighted to follow you back, and I think the pictures you've posted so far show a great eye and real talent. Welcome to the project--I hope you learn as much, and get as much pleasure out of it, as I have done and am still doing. I see from your profile that you are particularly interested in macro work, which is my favourite kind of photography--l'm looking forward to seeing your shots!
The leaves make a wonderful subject at this time of year. Love the colours and it is amazing how you have captured the fibres on these. It is a great composition too. Loving all your captures. Fav
@tristansmum Thank you for your wonderful comments, Stephanie! I saw one of your macro shots in the macro tag section and then viewed some of your other macro shots in your albums . . . WOW! Breathtaking photos! There's something about clear/sharp macro images that really does take my breath away. I have felt this for awhile and I'm finally following my passion. It's easier to do now that I'm retired from teaching. I am thoroughly enjoying this project! I am learning every day and the support I have received in such a short amount of time is truly amazing. I noticed that you live in Toronto . . . my brother-in-law and family live in Mississauga.
@helenhall Thank you, Helen! The leaves are truly beautiful right now. I was in Manitoba, Canada in September and October when the leaves were changing there and they were spectacular! Not quite the same where I am here in Texas now but still beautiful in their own special way.
@woodlandsphotog Thank you for the welcome comment! I am thoroughly enjoying this project . . . I'm motivated to take pictures every day and I'm learning so much . . . and the support is amazing . . . and this is only my day 25! Woo-hoo!
@bkbinthecity Hi, Brian! Greetings from San Antonio. I do have some interesting connections to you . . . my husband is from Winnipeg (we spend 5 months of the year at Lake Winnipeg) and we lived in Edmonton for 2 years . . . our son was born in Edmonton. A beautiful city . . . we enjoyed our time there tremendously. Thank you for the comment on the photo.
