Beautiful morning once again . . . went outdoors with the intent to shoot texture. WOW! Texture everywhere I looked that I never noticed before. I think I seldom took the time to just STOP and really observe my surroundings before I started taking photos every day for this project. We've had a horseshoe pit for years and have painted and repainted these horseshoes more times than I can count. As you can see . . . they are in desperate need of fresh paint . . . which I was very happy about in terms of showing texture.

Great find and capture. The worn and peeling is so often much more interesting to photograph than the new and sleek.
