I experimented with multiplicity today . . . a photo @jamibann posted on December 30 inspired me to give it a try. I enlisted the help of my cousin as my subject and we had a fun time shooting in several different spots at a school playground. I liked this spot best for the extra space in the background for more poses but it was not an ideal spot for shadows which I didn't realize would be an issue until I was processing the images in Photoshop. I learned a lot through this experience and will definitely try multiplicity again.
@milaniet Thanks for your comment, Milanie! It was actually much easier than I thought it would be . . I followed the steps from a YouTube video tutorial. Looking at the image now I see several things I will do different the next time but I suppose that's usually what happens with a first try at something. :-)
Now you are inspiring me Gayle. Your cousin has such great poses and expressions. She is such a pretty model. I never would have noticed the shadows if you hadn't mentioned it, you did an awesome edit. Fabulous shot .
@kategoring Thank you for your very nice comments, Kate! My sweet cousin had a fun time and I took her out for ice cream after we shot the photos . . . I think she liked that part best. :-)
I am wondering just how long you took in photoshop to pull this one off! Well worth the effort though .... continue to be amazed at just how much you are trying out and learning. inspirational.
@helenhall Thank you for your wonderful comments, Helen! I carefully followed the steps given in the online tutorial and it ended up not being that difficult to process in Photoshop. I do enjoy trying out new techniques. :-)
Wow! You REALLY threw yourself into this project!!! Very well done! Fun isn't it?! Regarding the three figures on the right of the bench, I'm absolutely dying now to get back to Lunenburg as I have just the bench I want to use for a multiplicity shot!!! I hope I can hold that thought!!!
@Weezilou Thank you, Louise! So much fun! When I saw Issi's photo in December I knew I wanted to give it a try. I am looking forward to seeing your Lunenburg multiplicity shot! :-)
@tunia She had such a fun time . . . she somewhat fancied herself a model as she was posing for these shots. :-) I treated us BOTH to big ice cream cones. :-)
@colleenculhane Thanks for your comment, Colleen! That's exactly what I said when I viewed Issi's multiplicity photo and immediately I knew I wanted to try one. Definitely fun! :-)
