Bougainvillea

I learned all about bracts with my posting of the Indian Paintbrush flower and so I found it quite interesting to read that the Bougainvillea is another plant with small flowers surrounded by clusters of brightly colored bracts. It was cool to learn that about the plant and also to know what bracts are when I was reading the information!

Very pretty, I don't like the prickles though. I just read up about bracts, so I know what they are too now.
