Hummingbird Mania - I spent the weekend at my brother's place in Leakey, Texas. He has 6 hummingbird feeders on his back deck and the hummingbirds are constantly feeding at each one. Towards the evening they swarm around the feeders and there will be up to 12 birds around each feeder...some busy feeding and others waiting for their turn. I spent hours watching and taking photos of these amazing little birds. I decided to post a Hummingbird Mania group of photos.
I am in big-time envy! Wonderful shot of these little ladies. Saw our first return today but just did a fly-by. Our weather has been cooler than normal, so hoping when it warms up some we'll see a few.
I think they are such awesome little birds, my mom has a bunch of feeders in SD CA and they are so much fun to watch when I visit. I wish I saw them here in FL, lovely capture of theses amazing little guys
I really like the one in flight here Gayle. I remember visiting our friends in Texas and they too had many feeders and it was delightful to watch the humming birds.
