Raspa Man by gaylewood

Raspa Man

This is Carlos and he sells raspas on the plaza in front of The Alamo almost every day. "Raspa" comes from the Spanish phrase 'hielo raspado', meaning scraped ice. So, raspas are basically a variation of snow cones or shaved ice and are a popular treat on the streets of San Antonio.
We loved San Antonio, this is a great street shot.

It looks good. I'm so impressed that you looked up Warren Henegar after seeing my photo yesterday. In this case F/f means Friend (Quaker) plus friend.

As far as I'm concerned, there are no bad photos of the Alamo, the shrine to Texas Liberty. Carlos is wonderful too, of course!

When you can get a photo of the Alamo, it has to be good. Great candid shot.
