. . . look for a squirrel. All my photo attempts for the day failed miserably and then just when I was ready to give up totally, I noticed this little critter sitting in the tree, watching me. He moved before I could get a shot of his full body which made me smile because that's how all my shots were working out today . . . or I guess I should say that's how all my shots were NOT working out today. That's okay . . . there's always tomorrow which will bring lots of new photo opportunities. :-)
Had to laugh at your comment. Sometimes tell myself I'm NOT taking another squirrel picture, but they can be so cute and funny and pretty reliable posers! This one is a cutie.
I love your composition with him looking so safe and comfortable in this little nook. it's funny, I always get annoyed by squirrels sneaking around trying to steal birdseed, but they are so cute in photos.
You found a *baby*!!! What a sweet little thing! I know that Posh is harboring some (I'm guessing two) and I'd be over the moon if she'd bring them around!!! What I'd give to get a picture like this!
I think you have thoroughly mastered squirrel portraiture Gayle. You always manage to make them look so cute and harmless. This one is beautifully lit and the bokeh behind is lovely.
