Before I started taking macro photos of insects, I quite often confused a hoverfly with a wasp or bee because of their similar yellow and black coloring.
Such an amazing capture. Wonderful details in this shot. Isn't it wonderful how much we learn about the critters around us through photography. Fave for this great shot.
@cmsch52 Hi, Carol! Thanks so much for your comment and fav! I'm not sure what the little creatures are under the leaf. I didn't even realize they were there until I viewed the images on the computer. It's amazing what you can see in macro. I might go back to this area and get some macro shots of all the activity under the leaves. :-)
