This is my "fur person", Elsie. She's a very pretty tortoise shell Calico, and notoriusly difficult to photogtaph. 4 years ago I took her home from a shelter. Why her? I still don't know, but I can't imagine a day without her.

Aww, Elsie is sooo pretty, Les! Just please keep that beautiful pink nose out of the sun...I have lost two of my beloved cats to skin cancer that started on the nose and then spread

@cath Hiya Cath -- Elsie and I both appreciate your compliment. She is a "wild child", to be sure, but she is also "as sweet as an apple on Christmas Day." Thanks VERY much for the heads up about the skin cancer, especially since I've never had a kitty with a pink nose before. Wow, I've never heard about that before. @kdrinkie Thanks a lot, Kim. I hope to have many more photos of her; she really knows how to live Life to its fullest. I can take many a page out of her book.
