The kids in the park call this dude "Crazy Joe" because there's nothing he won't try. I saw it too; he is fearless! It was pretty easy to get a shot of him; all I had to do was aim high!
Greetings! I'm from Connecticut (USA) Photography is one of my lifelong passions (others including gardening, woodworking, history, and being a part...
@jtookey150 Greetings, Jean and thank you very much. I've taken a quick gander through your project and saw lots of intriguing photos. it's so much fun looking at pictures from another country. Things are so different: architecture, (love the abbey) seasons, (we just now have strawberries), the phone booth, palace guard; really cool stuff! Be well, Les
I like the addition of the ramp graffitti. Just a suggestion since I kind of guess ISO speed, but try and do it at 100 next time to see if it lets you capture his motion easier
@deens Hi Nadine, and yes he has nerves of steel. It was amazing to watch them over and over again, and see how much control they had. When they didn't have the precise control, they knew exactly how to land safely. I think I had as much fun as they did! Looking forward to seeing your work.... Be well, Les
@brumbe Hi Paula, and thanks so much. I picked that ramp because of thegraffitti; thanks for noticing. Also, thanks for the suggestion; they are welcome. I'll try fiddling with the ISO next time. I set it high to get a fast enough shutter speed, but the image quality might be better if I went lower. Take care, Paula, Les
@kdrinkie Hi Kim and thanks a lot. Kids like these have been doing stunts for so long that they seem to have lost any sense of fear. And they are SERIOUS about their stunt biking. I noticed that two young fellas took a break to tune up their bikes, pulling out assorted socket wrenches, and screwdrivers, etc. So I guess they know what they're doing. Wait until you see the skateboarder that's coming...Be well, Les
@brumbe Thanks very much for taking the time to keep up with me Paula. Yes, next time out, I'm going to go on another bright day to give me good lighting so that a lower ISO will probably work ok. Be well, Les
