Daisy Swirl by glimpses

Daisy Swirl

August can be a very unpredictable, unusual (weather) month in Connecticut ,USA : Drought or drown, blights galore, hurricane season, pop-up TSorms, etc. So I thought I'd start this month with something also unusual.
I really appreciate all your recent comments, and thanks a million for the faves!
Very cool effect.

@maggie2 Hey Maggie --- "Well shut my mouth!" I never really knew that we were neighbors; how totally awesome! My brother lives outside of Syracuse, and my high school photo buddy (now publisher -we STILL keep in touch xo) lives in Oneonta. Thanks for the notice; I think this is waaay cool, if I do say so myself :p) I might keep experimenting; it's FUN. Have a terrific week, Les

@ralfb Hello Ralf, and thank you very much. This effect is fun isn't it? It is a "fisheye effect" that my camera has built in. This is my first digital camera, (Canon Powershot SX 30) and I'm still learning how to use it. I tried this new effect for fun just last week; it's tricky! Long answer, but hey.......Be well, Les

@brumbe I AM having fun with it! The possibilites go on, and on. It's a gas, but really tricky. And I don't want to get distracted from the stuff I really want to do, so I don't want to make a habit of tinkering with it too much. Nice to hear from you, Les
