Gnome's Hangout by glimpses

Gnome's Hangout

This simple Mushroom made me stop and take out my camera. It was begging to be be photographed. The Woodland Absract that I recently posted was taken from this very same Mushroom.
( Thank you all for continuing to follow my work and for taking the time to leave me such inspiring and appreciative comments. I regret that time does not allow for me to do likwise at present. Also sorry for the "blanket responses"; not my preferred way of thanking you, but I have A LOT on my plate right now, and will catch up as I go. Thanks for everything............Les
Very cool macro. Love the details and texture.

@hudd Hello Hudd, and much appreciated. Just when I thought, "Holy smokes! I've never seen a Mushroom this color before!", I came across one after another. :-) Hope that you are having a good week, Les

@nicolecampbell Hi Nicole, and much appreciated. I've never come across a Mushroom this color before either; that's why it stopped me in my tracks! :-) And can you believe; I was almost going to go for a woodland walk withOUT my camera, so I could just relax and take everything in. But the photographer in me said, "What, are you nuts!"
"What if you see something memorable and you don't have your camera?" I took some nice abstracts out there too.
(Thanks for asking; the Cortisone has kicked in again and is helping. I am pain-free except when I use it a little. It's coming along, and think it will be just fine; very kind of you to ask, Les x

@shellbelle Thanks Michelle, and there are plenty more where that came from; except that they are poisonous as hell. :-) Take care, Les x
