It's a challenge for me photograph Grasses in a way I've not yet done. This is one is from mid-summer, when early Grasses first bloomed. As we are having a 7th straight day of chill, and clouds, and rain, I needed something light and airy and bright.

Les this is truly lovely. It looks so soft and delicate. Well done. I hope you have some sunny weather soon. It was gorgeous here today after five days of rain. Oh and the cocky came back today and had a friend with him. :)
@nicolecampbell Many thanks Nicole, and glad to hear the "cocky" is back. I still can't believe that seeing them flying around is a normal sight for you. Here, it would mean that someone's pet bird escaped!
The sun is supposed to shine for many days ahead, but there's catch: the temps wil be in the 30's F at night - it'll mean frost for some people. Hope you are having a great week, Les x
@glimpses - I thought of you today Les when I was driving to work and saw about 30 or 40 cockatoos on the side of the road eating the grass. My cockatoo was back again today, I think he has found a new feeding ground.
@nicolecampbell Thanks for the tantalizing info Nicole. Tantalizing becuase as a birder, I think I would faint dead away if I saw 30 or 40 cockatoos in their natural habitat! LOL Are they a nuisance of any kind?? To farmers, orchard keepers, homeowners, anything like that?? They certainly are cheeky delightful birds. Take care, Les x
