This is the friendly old rocker inside the farm's store that I recently visited ; it is one of a pair. They sit beside a massive fireplace that is burning all day once the chill weather comes. The wood smoke is sweet and fragrant, as they only burn logs and trimmings from apple trees. Suddenly, a farm cat appears out of nowhere seeking not just a lovely scratch under its chin, but also a place in your lap. I always make room. The view from the open air store front is heavenly: you can watch the sun set behind a horizon made of Apple trees, lit to a stunning brilliance. A short spell in this rocker does my heart a world of good.
(Note: This whole scene was orange, (from the setting sun) so I drained most of the color out of it.)
