One more of my all-time favorites; ( one more indulgence to celebrate my halfway point.) This is sooooo Kim; a "freeze frame" of her childlike wonder and gentleness, which is simply part of her nature. Her real passion was not with calves, :-D but a profound love, admiration, and respect for horses. She had remarkable 8 yr equestrian career in dressage, taking home ribbons and trophies in nearly every competition she entered, including national championships. Presently, she owns and operates a horse farm, boards horses, trains both horses and riders, and a whole lot more.

I absolutely love these photos . . they are almost (if not) better than some photos today. There's a soft and beautiful quality to them. Love her look of joy and innocence. This process is one that cannot be achieved with today's cameras. If it can, I haven't seen or learned it yet. This is a FAV for me. A great reminder of what cameras used to do.
