Nothing can wisk me back to happy, carefree childhood days the way Lilacs can. Each Spring, the first time I close my eyes and bury my face in their tiny, tender blooms, and breathe in their sublime, one-of-a-kind fragrance, I am flooded with treasured memories. Tears of fond nostalgia trickle down my smiling face. They have worked their magic again: It only happens once in a year, and only for a few precious minutes; I get to go home.

As to "getting back in the groove" Mike, well, it's just like riding a bike (although I don't ever recall taking the traing wheels off. BAHhahaha.)

im back my friend, how stressful is moving! it took me a while to get back into taking my pics ive been so tired with the cleaning and decorating but its looking good now and i can relax, hope to have a catch up later ive got to make the sarnies now lol hope you are well xxx
@maggie2 Thank you Maggie......As far as fragrance goes, Lilacs are in a "class" all their own. Every year I photograph them somewhere; it's challenging to find a new way to do it each year. This year I went macro. All my best, Les xx
