That's one of the reasons I love Dogwood trees. I find it is so very unusual that they put forth a lovely, long-lasting blossom BEFORE they've put out their leaves. And a bonus: those green buds turn into vivid red-orange seeds in the Fall, providing more seasonal beauty, AND, food for Squirrels and birds. Oops, almost forgot to mention that in the Fall, the leaves turn a beautiful brick-red. A Tree for all seasons. :-)))))

@cindyrez Thanks for stopping Cindy.........This Dogwood was brutally damaged in Oct. during "Epic Storm Alfred". Half of the entire tree was completely sheared off by a nearby tree that came crashing down. The blossoms were few, kind of "enemic", and didn't last long. ut at least ti survived!! (Happy, Happy, Happy smile) All my best, Les
