As promised, here's a look at the 2nd abandoned kitty I am feeding. What a handsome fellow is he. His name came easiliy, as he is a "little dickens" in too many ways to name. He is playful, affectionate, fearless, sassy, curious, incorrigible, cheeky, a rascal, an upstart, a little whippersnapper, and also a real charmer (when he wants to be.) Everything is of interest to him; he is always off investigating something, and is rarely still. He is sweet-natured, not a bit shy, loves being petted, stroked, and a good chin rub, and will play to the point of exhaustion. He usually appears when I am in my Garden, and can't resist trying to "help" me. He is a delightful pest. :D He scales my 8-9 ft. Tomato plants with ease, though brings down a shower of unripened fruit, and is well satisfied when he reaches the "summit." He chases after Moths and Butterflies, and crashes headlong into a sea of Dahlias, or Vinca, or a forest of Zinnias. I can hear the snapping as he plows through. (Sigh) More "floral carnage".... His favorite sport is playing with the cloth strips I use to tie up my Tomatoes (as pictured.) Ooops! I inadvertently taught him that ALL my Tomatoes have such strips, so they are all fair game. He is in fine health, has a winsome personality, and I have someone interested in giving him a home.
(Note on "Van Gogh: He is doing ok, still coming for meals, but still very feral.)
