Another photo I wish I were in:))) I also miss my fresh tomato/basil/cheese omelettes! Our 8-day bout with uncommon, bitter cold and wind is finally ending, with snow! The coldest day was -16F (-27C) including wind chill; normal is 25F (-4C.) These luscious Tomatoes were VERY happy in my Garden, growing in profusion at twice their "normal" size, 20-30 on each 5 ft. plant. Nearly the size of my closed fist, they were VERY "meaty", had hardly any juice, a thick skin, and were perfect for cooking and sauce, and my "lighter than air omelettes."
Greetings! I'm from Connecticut (USA) Photography is one of my lifelong passions (others including gardening, woodworking, history, and being a part...
How I wish for a decent tomato. They look wonderful..! Ripe and ready to eat. Nothing tastes better than a heirloom tomato. Nice job, on the fruit and the photo...! : )
@gerry Thanks Gerry.........very happy plants last summer.....great yields! Most important though, great pleasure, and great connection to the Earth. Take good care, Les
